Descripción del programa
The City has released a draft ordinance to establish buffers between development and creeks. Development buffers along creeks are required by the City's General Plan, by the City's Coastal Land Use Plan, and for compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act. Buffers also reduce public safety risks associated with erosion and flooding, help maintain creek and ocean water quality, and protect creek side habitats.
