Plane Pull at SBA

Join Santa Barbara Airport and Alpha Resource Center on Saturday, October 25, 2025 for the fourth annual Plane Pull!

The Plane Pull is an extreme team challenge where teams of 10 play tug of war with an Alaska Airlines E175 airplane weighing nearly 100,000 pounds. Teams will pull the airplane 20 feet and the fastest time in each division will be crowned division champion.

Who can participate? Anyone! Form a team of family members, friends, coworkers, or gym buddies of all ages and abilities. All activities will take place at Atlantic Aviation at 1503 Cook Place.

All proceeds benefit Alpha Resource Center and their mission to serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Team registration opens Monday, June 2, 2025 on Alpha's website.
